How to install AxiTrader's MT4 NexGen on Mac?
Just a couple of hours ago, I managed to figure out how to install AxiTrader's MT4 NexGen exe. file on MT4 for Mac without needing a virtual Windows. This might be the first article on this topic. If you wish to share this, feel free to do so! Let the goodness spread.

1. Download the MT4 NexGen.

2. You must also install PlayOnMac.
3. Remember to install to MT4 for Mac by AxiTrader. The link to the MT4 dmg. can be found in the same email mentioned earlier.

4. Install PlayOnMac and the MT4 first.
​
5. Run PlayOnMac. If you have problems with starting PlayOnMac or MT4 once installed, feel free to comment below and I would be more than happy to guide you. Hint: It has something to do with your Security settings. Simply change the setting or right click on the apps installed and select open rather than double-clicking them.

6. Once in the PlayOnMac, select "Install a program" on the left sidebar.

7. At the bottom left of the pop-up window, select "Install a non-listed program".
​
8. Then, continue the installation process and select "Install a program in a new virtual drive". Name the "drive" anything you want!
​
9. Now, locate the NexGen.exe file that you have downloaded by clicking "Browse".
​
10. Just run it!
11. You will see the pop-up window below.

12. Click "Find MetaTrader".
​
Now, here is the tricky part.
​
13. To be able install the Expert Advisors in the right location, it will not work be locating the app in the Application folder. My guide here is to open the MT4 for Mac program and then go to the "Data Folder". You will see a pop-up window and also the directory. Hit the drop-down arrow. You will be able to trace the folder in the exact location.

### 14. Now open Finder and start locating the folder. If you cannot find the "Library folder", select "Setting" icon on top of the Finder window.
Then, select "Show View Options". At the bottom of the pop-up window, you'll see "Show Library Folder". Check it. Done!

15. Once, you are able to locate your folder. This process should make things simpler. You are now able to add custom indicators, etc. Back to NexGen.exe installation windows, locate the folder in the "Library Folder". This should be self-explanatory. One of the harddisk icon after the "My Computer" dropdown should contain your user folder. Double click on the "My Computer" icon to view the dropdown. Start there.
